I HEART Rachel Riley Swimwear..
So I was browsing through Pinterest then I came across this vintage inspired fish print swim suit by Rachel Riley. It comes in soft cotton with an adjustable elasticated neck fastening and a frill edge panel at the front. It has a ruched elasticated back and a cute frill skirt at the waist...#inlove
Pinterest!
I've been a bit slow with this new social media website Pinterest. How have I only just found out about this genius idea!! For those of you, like me, aren't familiar with Pinterest it's a website where you can upload your inspirations and explore other peoples. I've only just started 're-pinning' pictures. I thought I would start with making a mood board based on the Girlswear Accessories board I made during the week...if you have Pinterest please follow me!!

Childline Celebrates its 25th Birthday...
With old fashioned telephone boxes!! As crazy as this sounds, ChildLine have
teamed up with some of the best artists to creative a dramatic twist to the
traditional red kiosks by recolouring, accessorising and transforming them to
celebrate the charities 25th birthday.
I’ve been franticly googling the leopard print telephone box I saw on my way back from work and I've finally found the artist who created this little genius. Dave White. It’s called "Nowhere to Hide".
I've attached some images of my favourites below but you can view them all at http://www.btartboxes.com

Bubble Spring Summer 2013
Unfortunately I missed S/S 2013 Bubble this June (first time in years!)
but I've been keeping up with the trends through various blogs. Firstly I
would like to give a big congratulations to Indikidual who was crowned the winner of the 2012 Stand out competition. Indikidual
is a unisex brand for kids aged 3 months to 7
years. The range allows for layering and encourages mixing and matching
to create individual looks and styles. All garments are made using
organic cotton and are designed to be practical and comfy as well as
fashionable and expressive. I particularly love the names of the pieces
in the collection which are nicknamed after "little indikiduals" that
provided inspiration for the range.
Other brands which I'm gutted I missed out on are Tootsa MacGinty, Rock 'n' Regal, No Added Sugar, Beau Loves, Marmalade and Mash and Jessie and James.
During my research I noticed there was an abundance of yellow at Bubble London, often with or complementary to mint green. This is a key colour for summer 2013 along with splashes of neon pink and orange. Flesh tones and soft pastels are still there but not as excessively.
Retro style prints were amongst the most popular themes for next summer 2013. On the whole prints were tiny florals or strong graphic lines, plaids, gingham's, stripes, stars and spots.
Lastly, it looks like the Flamingo is shaping up to be creature of the season, it’s the perfect colour, neon pink, elegant and can be reduced to cartoon simplicity.

JCB @ George
I was browsing at George's childrenswear selection when I and across one of my designs! Love seeing them in stores so thought I would share with you my JCB tshirt...
Long time no see...
After a short fast year I've finally made it back on blogger! For many months now I've been meaning to start blogging again but due to a busy year I just haven't got around to posting anything. Well I'm blogging now so let me give you an update on what's been happening over the last year..
At GFW I meet the senior designer for Smith & Brooks who was looking for a Junior Boyswear Designer...well I went for the interview and with luck I'm now a Boyswear designer! I've been in my job for a year and feel I have grown so much as a designer as well as a person. I design for JCB, Fireman Sam, Thomas the Tank Engine, Mr Men and Disney for high street retailers such aa George @ Asda, Tesco, Matalan, M&S and many more. I was lucky enough to travel for design inspiration during my time here. I've been to Paris and Barcelona which has given me a better understanding of design and trends.
Speaking of travelling I celebrated my 2:1 degree results by taking a holiday to my dream location, Dubai, in July 2011. This truly was a trip of a lifetime. Such a beautiful city!! To this day I'm till trying to convince my boyfriend we should go back. I love and miss the place to death!
I've just got back from Cuba yesterday and am completely jet lagged!! Cant seem to get back into the swing of English time. Cuba was so inspiring! So much history and culture about the place. Tried my first cigar there....which I can safety say I wont be making a habit of smoking one again!
Well the time is 2.30am and should probably go bed now. Night x
